Badachu Park, also known as the "Eight Great Sites Park," is a scenic park located in the Shijingshan District of Beijing. It features eight ancient Buddhist temples and monasteries set in a beautiful mountainous area.

The park covers an area of 332 hectares and is known for its natural beauty and cultural significance. It's a popular spot for hiking, sightseeing, and religious activities.

The eight temples and monasteries in the park date back to the Tang Dynasty (618-907 AD) and include the Temple of the Azure Clouds, the Temple of the Fragrant World, and the Temple of the Sea of Wisdom, among others.

Recommended Tour Route

Badachu Park is best explored by following a route that takes you through the main temples and scenic spots. Start at the Main Gate, which is the entrance to the park.

From the Main Gate, follow the path to the Temple of the Azure Clouds (Biyun Temple), which is the largest and most important temple in the park. Then visit the Temple of the Fragrant World (Xiangjie Temple) and the Temple of the Sea of Wisdom (Zhihuihai Temple).

Continue to the other temples and monasteries, including the Temple of the Dragon King (Longwang Temple) and the Temple of the Complete Meaning (Zhuyuan Temple). Along the way, you'll enjoy beautiful views of the surrounding mountains.

The park is quite large and involves some hiking, so plan to spend 3-4 hours to fully explore its attractions.
